Sustainable Business Consultant for an Alameda affordable urban permaculture housing project.
The Founder, Robert van de Walle, describes his vision: "With the current state of the real estate market, a unique opportunity exists to do
far more than flip properties. By combining expertise from the green building and architecture sphere, the relocalization sphere, the social activism sphere, and the sustainability sphere,
distressed investment properties can become the cores for community-centered living, reshaping the urban environment and offering solutions to issues as large as global climate change.
The ideas from urban permaculture point the way to creating a secure, environmentally sound, and socially just housing model which has room for both investor-owners to make up to
40% return over two years as well as offering low prices to owner-tenants who are yearning for affordable housing."
